Mariarosa and her father, moments before her wedding...
Mariarosa's family is 100% Italian (Abruzzo region, to be exact), and one of the proud Italian traditions is the corteo nuziale, where the bride and groom lead the entire party in a celebratory walk after the ceremony to the reception site, with musical accompaniment (here, a violin and mandolin).
When Mariarosa told me about the corteo, I was psyched and was instantly reminded of the corteo in The Godfather. I want to spend a year in Italy just shooting weddings!
Some familiar faces from past weddings. It's great to see happy people coming back for more merriment.
City Park has great light and even better backdrops. Walking the grounds before the reception got us some pretty sweet moments between Mariarosa and Paul.
Cake tastiness provided by Kathleen at Mulberries Cake Shop::

One happy bride! Mariarosa exuded a certain elegance about her the whole day. She was an amazing bride and I checked, I don't have a bad picture of her!
Catering once again provided by Flying Horse Catering in Castle Rock. Great people.
My second-shooter had this brilliant idea, so I got the shot from the side::
Stephanie's set of the first dance::
Also, of the bride's mom, dad and relatives during the first dance, love the expressions::
Mariarosa and Paul, seriously an A+ wedding! Thanks for signing me on; it was so much fun and I can't wait to hear about your honeymoon in Scotland (freedom!).
