Many thanks to Stephanie Brauer for inviting me to second-shoot this spectacular Indian wedding at Villa Parker in Denver. Kamesh's family comes from south India, and this August day was festooned with the 4,000 year-old Hindu traditions and otherworldly colors of a complete south Indian ceremony.
Watching the east-meets-west vibrance play out between the two families was delightful. It was refreshing to photograph during the subtle afternoon of a beautiful August day in Colorado; the sun sang spangling coins to decorate the moments shared between Nichole and Kamesh under the mandapam. The sitar and tabla provided a nice soundtrack to the many Hindu rituals and the pundit chanting blessings in Sanskrit.
Thanks again to Steph for having me along; this was my favorite wedding of 2012 and it features my work during its finest hour. A few clicks from the day...
